O que faz um Agente Literário?
Promove o autor. Leva-o a cada vez mais leitores. Fá-lo chegar a diferentes mercados.
Tendo em conta os objetivos e necessidades de cada autor, o trabalho a desenvolver passa por:
- promover os autores junto de editoras estrangeiras, com o objetivo de traduzir os seus livros,
disponibilizando-os noutros mercados
- promover os autores junto das organizações de eventos literários, de forma a que sejam convidados a
participar nesses eventos, partilhando a sua experiência como escritores e falando das suas obras
- promover os autores junto de Clubes de Leitura, para que se possam juntar aos leitores no debate dos
seus livros.
What does a Literary Agent do?
Promotes the author. Take them to more and more readers. Makes them reach different
markets.
Taking into account the objectives and needs of each author, the work to be carried out
involves:
- promoting authors to foreign publishers, with the aim of translating their books,
making them available in other markets
- promoting authors to literary event organisations, so that they are invited to take part in
these events, sharing their work with them.

Eventos Literários
Organização de Encontros Literários e Clubes de Leitura com o objetivo de promover a literatura portuguesa.
Os eventos têm como pressuposto a discussão de um livro de um(a) autor(a) português(a) e irão contar com
a presença do autor, enriquecendo a análise e conversa sobre a obra escolhida.
Estes eventos podem ser promovidos por entidades públicas ou privadas.

The events are based on the discussion of a book by a Portuguese author and will be attended by the author, enriching the analysis and conversation about the chosen work.
